Sports programme

As part of the Russia–Africa Forum, eight teams of soccer moms – four from Russia and four from Africa – will compete in a five-a-side futsal tournament. The competition will feature players from Russia, the Republic of the Congo, Mali, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, and other countries.

The Football Mom Cup is a project that combines sports and public diplomacy and creates a new direction for international dialogue – namely mom diplomacy. In addition to football, the event programme will include discussions on important topics related to amateur and international sports.

This is an invitation-only event.
