Russian entrepreneurs to attend 13th Africa and Mediterranean Energy and Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference (NAPEC 2026) in Algeria

A Russian business mission organized by the Russian-Algerian Business Council with the support of the Roscongress Foundation will be visiting Oran, Algeria, from 5 to 7 October 2026 as part of the 13th Africa and Mediterranean Energy and Hydrogen Exhibition and Conference (NAPEC 2026). Interaction between Russian and Algerian entrepreneurs will then continue at the Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum in Moscow on 28–29 October as part of the Third Russia–Africa Summit.

“This business mission to Algeria is further proof of the importance Russian companies place on Africa. We look forward to taking the interaction to a whole new level at the upcoming Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum,” Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexandra Ogneva said.

Upwards of 500 exhibitors from 60 countries come together with some 16,000 visitors for the event every year, which is likewise attended by Algerian officials and representatives of state-owned companies Sonatrach and Sonelgaz and leading international energy companies.

“Algeria is an energy giant in the process of modernizing its energy sector and expanding its scope to include the chemical utilization of natural gas, deep processing, and hydrogen. This window of opportunity may not remain open to Russian companies for long. Our goal is to see that they get involved in projects at an early stage, while important decisions are still being made,” Chairman of the Russian-Algerian Business Council Akhmed Azimov said.

“We highly value the results of our joint work at the summit. I am sure the achieved results are creating a good foundation for further deepening the Russia-Africa partnership in the interests of our nations’ prosperity and wellbeing.”
